My New Website!!....
I had a lot of great comments on my old website--I really had a hard time parting with it, but decided it was time for a change.
I needed more room for all of the great pictures I have, and also needed to incorporate a catalog feature using Paypal. I have begun making
my own lures and can now offer them for sale here!

"Pike Boy Lures"....
After struggling with storebought lures for years, I decided to simply make my own. Quite a few spinnerbaits on the market
are not much more than junk. I won't name brands here, but I will say I've had several literally break after only using them a few times.
All of my spinnerbaits are hand made by me. I pour my own lead, I paint them, I wire tie the skirts, etc..I use a heavier gauge wire
, I use rattles, deep-cup Colorado blades (silver or gold-plated), Gamakatsu hooks, and premium swivels/components.
Bass spinners are too dinky and Muskie spinners are too dang big and heavy (and expensive) to throw all day. These 1oz. spinnerbaits are
perfect for pike!!

Game fish season opens on Delavan Lake the first Saturday in May of each year. We fish throughout the spring, summer and fall. Although weather can influence your trip, we will fish in rain, sun, etc.. We will NOT fish in high wind conditions, and if caught out on the water during lightning, we will head directly to shore. If you book a trip and I make the decision to cancel due to high winds, etc., your money will be refunded in full OR your trip will be rescheduled--whichever you prefer. If you book a trip and it looks like the weather will not cooperate for that day, I am very flexible in moving that date a day or two before or after-- if my, and your schedule permits.
Your guide fee covers everything you'll need to catch a fish--pole, lures, bait, 1-day fishing license, etc.. I do NOT charge for live bait, as I think this is an important part of a well rounded fishing trip.
My philosophy is to get you on fish, and to do this as safely and efficiently as possible, and to make your trip fun and enjoyable. Obviously, some fishing days are better than others. I can't guarantee you'll catch the pike or bass of a lifetime. I can't guarantee you'll boat 20 or more fish. What I DO guarantee is that you'll catch a pike, and if not, you do not have to pay for your trip. Period. LET'S GO FISHING!!!!!!
